DMX controller for sale or swap

Postby Glenn » Mon May 03, 2010 4:44 pm

It's got to go I'm affraid, I don't have the time/understanding or mental caperbility ( :crazy ) to get this sorted properly at the moment, so rather than it gathering dust in the cupboard 'till God knows when I would rather it went too a better home.....

The item in question is an IMG Stageline DMX 1440 lighting controller. It is in good condition (my opinion) and I am open to sensible money offers or I would be happy to swap it for lighting or equipment to an equivelent value, so WHY.......?

I would prefer any potential new owner to see/test the controller before they bought it though, but I am sure some arrangement could be made.

Any questions etc...

Hi Ian,

Yeah - it beat me !!

I do tend to get muddled with things like this which is a shame really. However, it never sold so I might be tempted to try again..........unless someone wants to buy it !!

I’m a bit lazy when it comes to DMX although I do understand it, I really only ever use it for uplighting the rest is on hand controllers. We run ours via a USB interface with free software and it even tells you the dip switch settings which does make it idiot proof.

If you are going to by cans for uplighting look at the LEDJ range from Prolight. You can select the primry colours plus purple and orange from the dip switches. If you link them for DMX you can use a dedicated controller (from the same range) which enables you to select a coulour from a push button choice of about 20, (you can also colour chase/sound activate, etc.).

All cans have the same dip switch setting.
Is this the begining of the end, or the end of the begining?
