Mobile DJ Online Code of Conduct

1a) Abuse

Members must not abuse, harass, threaten, make personal comments, flame, insult or make racial comments in any post, private message or email. This includes making comments in respect of any members spelling or grammar. Any member found to be in breach of this rule may, depending on the severity of the event, be banned or have their access to the forum restricted either permanently or a set period of time to be determined by the administration team.

1b) Avatars and Images

Avatars and images need to be tasteful and viewable for any age group, race or creed. Images the administration considers to fall outside this remit will be removed and a warning will be issued to the offending member.

1c) Forum Helpers/Moderators/Admin

The Administrators and Moderation team is here to ensure the smooth running of the forum. Please do not publicly challenge the decisions of the Moderation Team in threads. If you have a complaint/issue please contact either via PM or Email if you need assistance or help where your complaint/issue will be given a fair review.

Please note that PM's may be just acknowledged in the first instance in order for there to be time for the matter to be fully investigated and to allow for "chill out" time in heated situations so that a rational response can be given rather than a "knee jerk" reaction in the heat of the moment.

1d) Copyright

The moderators have the right to delete any post where they believe there is an infringement of copyright laws, unless the copyright is owned by you.

1e) Illegal Activities

Members must not post links to websites or post any information that promotes or incites any activity deemed to be illegal by law

1f) Keeping on Topic

Please try to keep threads on topic. The moderators reserve the right to delete or edit posts that deviate substantially from the topic.

1g) Signatures

Members may add a link to their website in their signature provided it is to a DJ/Disco related website where they own the domain and is not a directory/listing site. Members may also include an image or banner provided it is not more than 60 pixels high. Signatures must not exceed 3 lines of normal sized text and a banner/picture of the above dimensions will be the equivalent of two lines of normal sized text.

1h) Multiple Registrations

Multiple registrations by the same person is prohibited and any banned member is prohibited from re registering under a different user name. We record IP addresses and any member without due cause that infringes this rule will have their account permanently suspended and their IP address banned.

1i) Advertising

No advertising is allowed apart from by companies/retailers authorised to do so by the forum Administrator(s)

Companies/retailers are permitted to reply to any post where a member is asking advice about a particular item and provide details of what they have to offer. They are also permitted to post details of special offers in the retailer forum as well as details of any shows and/or open days that they are holding or attending
