Responding to email enquiries

Hi all

About 70% of my enquiries are via email with no telephone number

I tend to send a standard comprehensive response, but with these type of 'loose' enquiries I only achieve a booking rate of 5% where there is no telephone number compared to 25% where they supply one.

Does anyone have a tried and tested template/wording used in these type of general enquiries that is reasonably successful?

I would say around 85% of my enquiries are now via the internet, although 70% of these are prompted by recommendations from venues and previous clients, the rest are 'found you on the internet'. Of these, my conversion rate is above 90%, although is going down as I do more and more website promotion and get an increasing amount of bargain hunters. Dealing with all enquiries by email means I am not wasting hours and money calling people looking for a cheap disco though, so seems to me an effiecient way to run the business

I have 2 emails I send, the first is auto generated by DJI during the quote process. I then follow up a couple of day later with the second. Feel free to get some ideas from these and draft your own, more personal and perhaps better version.

AUTO REPSONDER -

Please bear in mind, performing at a very special event like your Wedding, is a job for a professional with experience, it's more than just 'playing a few songs', so please do not be tempted to just go with the cheapest you can find.
